Perth to Narita

Sunday 29th March 2009 - Depart Perth 22:55 Qantas QF79 to Tokyo - arrive Tokyo 09:55 on Monday 30th March.

All well on our depature from Perth.  Rayls and Ryan saw us off and the flight to Narita (Qantas QF79) was one of the best flights I have had - even managed around 5 hours sleep on the 10 hour flight.

No problems at Narita, we got into our day room no problems and even have internet access which has allowed me to do some updating of cricket web sites back home.

Narita airport was OK, 6 hours is a long time.  We were scheduled to leave Narita at 4:00pm but there was a change of gate and we ended up leaving 40 minutes late.   The flight was OK, although the seats were very uncomfortable and sleep was next to impossible.

We crossed the coast just above San Francisco and Scott got a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge as we headed down to LA.
