Happy Birthday

It's Thursday morning and we are getting ready to fly to Dallas. Again!

It's Rayls birthday today, the second time she has celebrated overseas. Lucky for some.

We do have a problem, I have a rip roaring head cold. Bit of a worry flying to Dallas but I think I will be OK. My voice just about disappeared last night but seems a bit better. As you all know I have such a happy disposition but when I have a cold I am beyond miserable!!!!

The show last night was awesome. Started well when Amy managed to sell the extra ticket we had for face value, $60. Very pleasing. Thanks Amy.

Great show, sang all the Creedence hits plus his solo hits, great performer and such a wonderful guitarist. The guy who bought Ryan's ticket Canadian but had a house near Lake Vegas, he was very talkative and spoke with Steve about various subjects - they did seem to have a few things in common.

We are having brekkie at 7am with Amy and Steve. Heading to the airport at 7:45am.

Drove to Las Vegas. 4 hours driving but we stopped in Barstow for brekkie and at a rest stop 45 minuetes out of Vegas fir a power nap. I would have asked Rayls to drive but she was asleep. Into Vegas around 2:00pm, checked into hotel. Met up with best friends Amy and Steve. Amy and Steve very kindly shouted us dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.

Now the four of us are sitting in the Venetian Theatre about to watch a John Fogerty concert, apparently he is doing an Eagles tribute tonight.

The show was great, all the hits, we all enjoyed the show.
