On the Road

The first thing to remember is that they drive on the right side of the road in the US. That is right as in opposite to left, not right as in opposite to wrong. We all know that driving on the left is right - confused?

Aussies are not use to tipping but because the service is so good in the US and you get those refills, we are happy to tip. - Our experiences with prices, tipping, lamps and showers.

Americans usually are very friendly. If you are an Aussie they are even friendlier, they seem to have a love affair with Australia and everything Australian. So how do we make sure the Americans know that we are Aussies?

Differences

There are many differences between the United States, it's people and Australia and it's people. Americans drive on the different side of the road, they spell words differently, the numerical date is written backwards, the first floor might not be where we expect it.
